With all of the excitement about Khans of Tarkir, the next set for Magic: The Gathering, and all of the spoilers being released ( http://ift.tt/1kSuijj ), you’d think that if we were going to talk about Magic, we’d be talking about that, wouldn’t you? But no! There’s other excitement in the Magic arena, and we have it! Speed vs. Cunning Duel Decks! These ready-to-play decks showcase cards from across Magic history, including six cards from the new Khans of Tarkir set and four cards with new artwork. Shrieking Hordes Confront Tactical Masters Racing across the blazing steppe, the wave of attackers crests the barren hills. Nothing can stop their reckless advance. These warriors live fast, fight hard, and strike terror into the hearts of those in their path. The scarred countryside seems abandoned. Then, suddenly, hidden fighters spring from ambush. The overconfident enemy recoils in surprise, outflanked and outsmarted. Who will prevail, the swift or the sly? And, we also got in Magic-themed lapel pins! These are heavy, larger than a quarter pins that let you show off your favorite color of Magic!

Tim Morgan

When Tim Morgan told his high school guidance counselor that he wanted to publish games for a living, the response was a clueless, “Uhhhh, you’ll probably want some college then.” Twenty-five years later, while still not publishing games for a living, he has made games his life -- over twenty years as the manager of a game store in Seattle, playtester of more RPGs and board games than you can shake a stick at, and small-press publisher of several games and even more novels. And now, co-owner of the ‘Round the Table Game Pub in Lynnwood. He currently lives in Everett, WA, where he is the caretaker of four (no, five!) lolcats, the oppressive taskmaster of a teenaged daughter, and the devoted husband of a wonderful author. His latest work is Ellis: Kingdom in Turmoil, a full RPG rules system and setting, detailing a low-fantasy world where religion is king and morality matters.
