Rats and Bats and Lizards! Oh My!
Welcome to Valley, the bucolic and vibrant home to the animalfolk of Bloomburrow, Magic’s first all-animal plane. It’s a place where big adventures await even the smallest who are bold, inquisitive, and heroic, while those with more homespun and peaceable yearnings can enjoy the tranquil life. But beware of the Great-Night Owl!
We’ll have 3 sessions of Sealed Deck play: Friday @ 7pm, Saturday @ Noon, and Sunday @ 2pm. Plus a session of 2HG Saturday @ 7pm!
We’re not doing those hardcore, Midnight events anymore, but rather a Friday night at 7pm event, with room for up to 32 players!
The Saturday @ Noon won’t be quite as big and we’ll have seats for 24 players.
The 2HG at 7pm will have room for 12 pairs (and this is how we’ll be selling entries, in two-person teams).
On Sunday, we’re looking for a smaller tournament, with room for up to 24 players
We’ve arranged for extra parking next door, just south of us, in the architect/insurance lot. Please take advantage of this and allow those with limited mobility to have the close spots!
Here’s a look at each of our events and what’s special about each:
Friday, July 26th at 7pm — The Red Eye
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• The event will be 3 rounds, so expect to be done about 11:30pm.
Saturday, July 27th at Noon — The Main Event
• The event starts promptly at Noon.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to play for about 5 hours.
Saturday, July 27th at 7pm — Two-Headed Giant
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• Registration is for two-person teams, not individuals, so make sure we know who your teammate is.
Sunday, July 28th at 2pm — Sunday Fun
• The event starts promptly at 2pm.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to play for about 5 hours.
Inside each Prerelease box, there will be:
• 6 Bloomburrow Play Boosters; each Draft Booster contains 15 Magic cards
• 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
• 1 deck box
• 1 Spindown die
The cost to register for this tournament is $39.99 + tax.
All ages and skill-levels are welcome. Prizes will include 1 Play booster pack per person and more for the top places.
