Magic Aetherdrift 2HG PreRelease: Saturday, Feb 8th @ 7pm
Start your engines for a high-octane death race across the Multiverse! Swerve through three planes of mayhem alongside Chandra, dodging dangerous obstacles and rival racers along the way. Crew up unique vehicles and mounts as you discover which racing team best suits your style, then hit max speed to claim the gold.
We’ll have 3 sessions of Sealed Deck play to celebrate the coming release of Aetherdrift: Friday @ 7pm, Saturday @ Noon, and Sunday @ 2pm.
Have a friend afraid to play alone? We’ll have a bonus Two-Headed Giant team event on Saturday @ 7pm!
We’ve arranged for extra parking next door, just south of us, in the architect/insurance lot. Please take advantage of this and allow those with limited mobility to have the close spots!
Here’s a look at each of our events and what’s special about each:
Friday, Feb 7th at 7pm — The Red Eye, 32 player max
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• The event will be 3 rounds, so expect to be done about 11:30pm.
Saturday, Feb 8th at Noon — A Casual Afternoon, 16 player max
• The event starts promptly at Noon.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to play for about 5 hours.
You are pre-registering for the Saturday, Feb 8th at 7pm — Two-Headed Giant, 12 teams of players max
• The event starts promptly at 7pm.
• Registration is for two-person teams, not individuals, so make sure we know who your teammate is.
Sunday, Feb 9th at 2pm — Sunday Fun, 24 player max
• The event starts promptly at 2pm.
• The event will be 4 rounds, so expect to play for about 5 hours.
Inside each Prerelease box, there will be:
• 6 Aetherdrift Play Boosters; each Play Booster contains 14 Magic cards
• 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
• 1 deck box
• 1 Spindown die
The cost to register for this Two-Headed Giant tournament is $79.99 + tax and covers the entry for both players on the team.
All ages and skill-levels are welcome. Prizes will include 1 Play booster pack per person and more for the top places.
