Friday Night Sealed is the first event that we’re going to try and hold under the Covid, Phase 2 rules.  We’re being extremely careful and want to do this as safely as possible, so here’s how the event is going to work:

Friday Sealed will begin promptly at 8pm.  Please don’t arrive more than 15 minutes early.

The number of players will be capped at 12.  We do not have space for more players than this, so no exceptions will be made for additional players.

You will be given 1 Core 2021 PreRelease Kit containing 6 booster packs, a promo, and a spindown life counter.  You will have 30 minutes to build a deck.  If you finish building your deck early, please remain at your seat or go outside.

Round One will start at 8:30 and finish about 9:30.  As before, when you finish, please remain in your seat or go outside.

After Round One, there will be a 15 minute break, during which all players will be required to step outside while we sterilize the tables.  No exceptions will be made.

Round Two will begin at 9:45 and end about 10:45.  Round Three will begin shortly thereafter and end about an hour later.

There will be prizes for the top half of the field.  Assuming 12 players, it will look like this: 1st Place: 4 Booster Packs.  2nd Place: 3 Packs. 3rd Place: 2 packs. 4th, 5th & 6th Places: 1 pack.

We will be strictly enforcing all of these policies, and we hope that you understand why we’re doing it.  A few weeks ago, we were thinking that we wouldn’t have any Magic events at all during Phase 2, but we think that if we can follow these rules, we can keep everyone safe while we’re having fun.
